Beautiful handcrafted 'synthetic wood' decorative window shutters that look, weigh and feel like timber. The Kensington is a contemporary open louvre style shutter with the louvre blades kept within the 35mm deep frame. Handmade in our UK workshops to your exact requirements these shutters are strong, durable and will remain looking good for years to come. Colours available include black, white, primed, and custom colour match options. Screw fixings supplied.

The Kensington is a modern, contemporary looking shutter where the louvre blade is kept within the depth of the frame rather than protruding through the face of the shutter.
These sturdily built shutters feature a 10 year guarantee on the body and a 5 year warranty on the paint finish.
Town & Country shutters are constructed from a blend (patent pending) of synthetic polymers that replicates the weight, feel and appearance of wood but without any of the maintenance issues associated with timber. We call it synthetic wood .
As Town & Country shutters are not made from pre manufactured component parts, they can be built without the vertical centre rib that all louvred polypropylene shutters over 450mm (18") wide have as standard, as seen in the Extrawide Traditional Louvre range.

Town & Country (Plastic Synthetic Wood) Shutter Colours

Prior to painting any Town & Country shutters in a custom colour, we shall first supply a spray out(s)* of the chosen colour for your approval on hue, shade and gloss level/ sheen. Only after approval has been given will the paint will be ordered.

*A spray out is a postcard piece of plastic that has been painted in the nominated colour.

Town & Country Shutters
Dispatch time: 8 - 10 weeks

All Town & Country shutters are hand built to order by our experienced carpenters. The method of construction used is the same as a conventional timber shutter. The finished shutter(s) are then sent off for painting in a durable paint that will never come off. Because of all the 'love & attention' that Town & Country shutters receive please allow 8-10 weeks for your order to be built, painted, packaged and dispatched.
