At Simply Shutters we understand that your home is monument to a lifetime of hard work so it is only natural that you will want to keep it looking at its very best. This is where we can help!

Built onsite in our UK based workshops the Simply Shutters Town & Country range is available in a maintenance free synthetic option as well as high quality Scandinavian Redwood.

Town & Country Synthetic shutters are constructed from a blend of synthetic polymers (patent application UK 0605923.2) that replicate the weight, feel and appearance of wood but are maintenance free. It is a material we call 'synthetic wood'.

Town & Country Redwood shutters are constructed from Scandinavian Redwood, a slow grown pine joinery grade timber supplied from managed forests with full FSC Accreditation. With periodic maintenance Town & Country Redwood shutters will stay looking good for years.

The ready painted synthetic range is available in White Gloss, Black Satin, Primed White or Grey and Custom Colour Options. Town & Country Redwood shutters are supplied in their natural finish so will require weatherproofing with a suitable exterior preservative/stain or paint prior to installation.

All Town & Country shutters are made by hand by our in house carpenters in our very own workshops based in Suffolk, UK. The joints are mortised for added strength and each louvre blade is bonded into position. The end result is a high quality, sturdily constructed shutter.

As Simply Shutters uses its own in house carpenters to manufacture Town & Country shutters this means we can ensure that the build quality is excellent whilst also keeping costs low as we do not need to subcontract the work.

As Town & Country shutters are not made from pre manufactured component parts, they can be built without the vertical centre rib that all louvred shutters over 450mm (18") wide have as standard, as seen in the Extrawide Traditional Louvre range.
Maximum dimensions per single shutter are 800mm width x 3000mm height (31.5" x 118").

Town & Country Shutters
Dispatch time: 8 weeks

All Town & Country shutters are hand built to order by our experienced carpenters. The method of construction used is the same as a conventional timber shutter. The finished shutter(s) are then sent off for painting in a durable paint that will never come off. Because of all the 'love & attention' that Town & Country shutters receive please allow 8 weeks for your order to be built, painted, packaged and dispatched.

Town & Country (Plastic Synthetic Wood) Shutter Colours

Prior to painting any Town & Country shutters in a custom colour, we shall first supply a spray out(s)* of the chosen colour for your approval on hue, shade and gloss level/ sheen. Only after approval has been given will the paint will be ordered.

*A spray out is a postcard piece of plastic that has been painted in the nominated colour.
