Simply Shutters is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative. Please see job description below:

 

Job Title:                    WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Responsible to:          Managing Director

Liason with:               Manufacturing Team and Administration Team

Principle Purpose:     To provide accurate and prompt picking, packing and despatch of shutters

Nature and Scope:  The job also includes other general duties to maintain the efficient working of the Warehouse.

Principle Accountabilities

  1. Goods Inwards
  2. Stock maintenance
  3. Order fulfilment
  4. Movement of stock by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift truck.
  5. Loading goods for despatch
  6. Housekeeping
  7. Stocktaking
  8. General Warehouse Duties

Skills, Interests and Qualities

  • A good level of fitness
  • Good teamwork skills
  • The ability to work quickly and well
  • The ability to complete paperwork and count stock items
  • An understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Honesty and reliability
  • A willingness to work on a flexible basis
