The Cavendish is a modern, contemporary looking shutter where the louvre blade is kept within the depth of the frame rather than protruding through the face of the shutter.The Cavendish is essentially the same as the Kensington but with the addition of a centre bar. These sturdily built shutters feature a 10 year guarantee on the body and a 5 year warranty on the paint finish. Like all Town & Country shutters, the Cavendish helps reduce demand for hardwood and assist against deforestation.
Town & Country shutters are constructed from a blend (patent pending) of synthetic polymers that replicates the weight, feel and appearance of wood but without any of the maintenance issues associated with timber. We call it synthetic wood.
As Town & Country shutters are not made from pre manufactured component parts, they can be built without the vertical centre rib that all louvred polypropylene shutters over 450mm (18") wide have as standard, as seen in the Extrawide Traditional Louvre range. |
